This program offers financial assistance through a reimbursable grant in the form of monthly rent reimbursement for the first 12 months of business.

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATION TO APPLY: 

• Commercial business must be located within the BBCRA boundaries (view CRA Map)
• Applicant must have a credit score of 601 or higher with no history of bankruptcy
• Must have at least a 2 year lease
• Must be a for-profit business
• New businesses must apply within one year of receiving their City of Boynton Beach Business Tax Receipt
• Existing businesses are eligible to apply if they are expanding more than 50% of their current square footage or opening a second location

This grant is divided into two tiers of eligibility. Businesses are classified into tiers based on the type of business, which then determines the amount of eligible funding. 

• Tier One Businesses are eligible for reimbursement for up to 50% of the business's base monthly rent of $2,000 per month, whichever is less and must be one of the following businesses: restaurant, bakery, gourmet food market

• Tier Two Businesses are eligible for reimbursement for up to 50% of the business's base monthly rent of $1,750 per month, whichever is less, and include, but are not limited to, the following types of businesses: accounting offices, real estate offices, fitness centers, specialty business, clothing boutique, hair/nail salon, medical office, insurance office, florist, marketing office, take-out foods
