PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Ocean Breeze West is 4.37 acre parcel redeveloped into a single family subdivision located on the west side of Seacrest Boulevard between NW 6th Avenue and NW 8th Avenue in the Heart of Boynton. The BBCRA purchased the land in 2007 after a hurricane destroyed the former Section 108 property known as “Boynton Terrace”. The BBCRA paid to re-plat the once multifamily parcel into 21 individual single family home sites and used $423,000 of Federal stimulus funding to install the underground utilities and streets. The BBCRA partnered with Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County and the Boynton Beach Faith-Based Community Development Corporation to bring the desire of the community to reality.  The development of the 21 new for-sale, single-family homes thus helped to stabilize the community.
