PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The BBCRA Board approved funding for the redesign and construction of the existing Boynton Beach entry signage and landscaped areas at the southern and northern Federal Highway corridors. The scope of work for the project was to focus on a new design image for the City and BBCRA Area as well as provide landscaping and lighting enhancements at these sign locations.

The completed installation of the Boynton Beach “welcome” signs located at North and South Federal Highway enhances the existing entrance signage areas and creates a sense of arrival, pride and welcome. The sailfish and wave design is part of branding the City’s fishing tradition and close proximity to the Gulfstream.  The sign was built with a colorful modern look and lighting package to increase awareness of Downtown Boynton Beach as a destination.
