The Rock the Marina & Lionfish Derby is a business promotional event that was created to spotlight and bring exposure to the businesses, restaurants, and commercial marine tenants located at the Boynton Harbor Marina. The lively event has two primary functions – promote the businesses at the marina and eradicate as many invasive lionfish as possible from the waterways.
The Rock the Marina & Lionfish Derby is a fun, family-friendly event where patrons can spend an afternoon by the waterfront, enjoying live music and entertainment while learning about lionfish eradication, and various conservation and sustainability initiatives taking place in Boynton Beach.

Lionfish Derby Registration
Certified divers are invited to register in 2-person teams to participate in the Lionfish Derby. The registration fee is $85 per person and includes breakfast and a 2-tank dive on one of the participating commercial dive charters: Loggerhead Dive Charters, Splashdown Divers, Starfish Scuba, and South Florida Diving Headquarters. Space is limited and will be offered on a first come first serve basis.
